I’m getting a lot of messages right now regarding my work being used for tattoo designs. I really don’t want to spend anymore time talking about this, so here are my key points:
- If you want to use my artwork for a tattoo and ask me for permission first — go for it.
- If you intentionally don’t ask for permission because you believe anything you find on the Internet should be free game — go for it.
- If you don’t even know who I am but you found my work reblogged a zillion times on Tumblr and you decided to have the trendiest design permanently put on your body — go for it.
I really don’t care. If I cared, I wouldn’t post my work on the Internet…
In the off chance that you happen to be someone with an uncommon respect for art and working artists:
- I’m happy for you to send me photos of my work tattooed on you.
- I’m happy to receive any of your nice comments.
- I’m happy to discuss any custom designs you may be interested in having me create for you. Just message me!
In the mean time, I’ll be here working on more art that I’ll unconditionally continue to post photos of for your viewing pleasure.
xoxo,
Corinne
