When you design a website what programs do you use?

I design in Photoshop, then code by hand. When I was working on a PC, I used to simply write my code in a Notepad document. But when I switched to Mac (which are a little less developer friendly), and TextEdit messed up a few of my documents, I just started hand-coding in Dreamweaver.

Design Student Diary - Lessons I Learned This Semester

My fourth year at university is officially over! This has been one crazy semester, jam-packed with learning, growth, and definitely a lot of stress. At the start of the semester, I made a few goals for myself, and if I’m being honest, I only met 1 and a half of them. But mistakes are lessons in disguise, as they say. I’ve definitely learned A LOT this semester – about things I want to improve and things I want to avoid doing again. (Read more about them on my blog!)

Chelsea Greene Lewyta is a freelance illustrator from New York who creates fanciful worlds of folklore and eroticism, drawing on inspiration from fairytales, Asian motifs, and Asian horror films. Most of her pieces possess a morbid sensuality. Girls lay bare-breasted with candy like entrails hanging out from their naked bodies. I did it! 30 days without sugar, grains, dairy, legumes, or alcohol. And I feel amazing! 30 days ago, I would have never thought I’d be undergoing such a huge lifestyle change, and actually enjoying it. Cutting added sugars completely out of my diet sounded like crazy talk. But Dave and I can both vouch that it has been the best decision we’ve made in a while.

I finished my 30 days, but here’s why I’m not stopping. Food changed my life! Read more on my blog!

Going through old photos with my family. This is my favorite picture of my grandma my grandpa took of her.

I always taught you looked Asian Corinne! But for awhile I thought maybe you were Native American. Both of my parents have at least one Native American parent, and looking at some of my lighter skin tone family members, I thought you could be as well. Your family is really beautiful, and it's amazing how close to your heritage you are. Not enough of people are period.

Thanks! :) Ha, yeah, I think only other quarter-Asians are able to distinguish the subtle oriental features. In California, most people just assume I’m Mexican, haha.
