5 Tips for Warped Tour Photo Pit Etiquette
I’m headed out to Warped Tour again this summer with the Natural High team! We’re kicking off our summer starting in San Diego today then making our way through Pomona and Ventura for the next couple days. In the past, I was asked a lot of questions about shooting shows, so with Warped Tour now in full force I figured this would be a perfect time to compile a guideline to photo pit etiquette. (See the full post on my blog!)

This summer, I had the awesome opportunity to be out on Warped Tour again with Natural High, and got to interview some pretty inspiring people on the tour. Beau Bokan, vocalist of Blessthefall, was one of those great people and he shared with us what it was like for him growing up and choosing to be drug free.

“I found so many other things to do, I didn’t have to worry about smoking weed to feel good about myself or to have fun. There’s no positive outcome from drinking or doing drugs. It’s not worth it.”

Check out the interview with Beau and share your thoughts on YouTube!

We had such a successful few days out at Warped Tour this summer and I met so many awesome people! I can’t wait to continue to share with you all what we’ve been up to. Check out our Tumblr and like us on Facebook to keep up to date with all the exciting news we’ll be announcing over the rest of the summer.

Getting to be a part of Natural High’s outreach at Warped Tour has been such an incredible blessing. This summer has been amazing so far and the positive response we received from fans at these last couple Southern California dates is overwhelmingly encouraging.

Natural High is one of the few — if not only — drug awareness/prevention organizations out on Warped Tour right now. This scene is so stereotypically infiltrated with drugs and substance abuse, but there seems to be a rising counter culture searching for an alternative.

It has been so awesome to share this alternative lifestyle with my peers at Warped Tour and inspire them to discover their passions in life and pursue those full-heartedly without the distraction of drugs. Our mission was to shed light on the reality that not everyone is doing drugs, and I could not be more grateful for the support we’ve received from musicians — like Levi Benton of Miss May I, Beau Bokan of Blessthefall, Matt Greiner of August Burns Red, and David Puckett of For Today — for furthering that message and encouraging their fans to embrace their passions and reject drugs.

I’m so excited to share everything we’ve been doing over the last week and the awesome interviews we did with the above mentioned artists. Thank you to everyone who came by the tent and shared your natural highs with us!
